Rape Crisis Scotland National Helpline

Open every day 6pm until midnight on freephone 08088 01 03 02.

The Rape Crisis Scotland helpline offers free and confidential initial and crisis support and information by phone or email. The support is for anyone affected by sexual violence, no matter when or how it happened.

We support women, men and transgender survivors as well as their family, friends and workers. We can also put you in touch with local rape crisis centres or other services if you would like face to face or longer-term support. The helpline has a minicom service for Deaf or hard of hearing people. We can also arrange for language interpreters if your first language is not English.

Rape and Sexual Abuse Support Centre Freephone Helpline

This is a Croydon-based helpline, which takes calls from throughout the UK from female and male survivors of sexual violence. Also supports non-abusing partners, friends and other agencies.

Speak out Scotland

Speak Out Scotland provides a support service for non-offending male survivors of childhood sexual abuse. SOS operates a telephone helpline service for support, information and signposting to appropriate services. SOS also provides access to specialist counselling by phone, face to face and a self-help group that runs every second Saturday.
